Molded silicone fittings are the ideal option when you need an easily cleanable assembly or need to reduce the risk of cross-contamination. In each Mitos molded fitting, the elastomer chains of the platinum-cured silicone are cross-linked to create a permanent molecular bond to the tubing or hose. A special feature of our molded Tri-Clamp is an integrated gasket that, when connected to another fitting, eliminates 50% of the sealing faces, creating seamless and crevice-free fittings.
For extra support, Mitos offers a full stainless steel or plastic backup cup on the outside of the molded fitting. Our plastic back-up cups have a unique wraparound design that fully encases the Tri-Clamp mold, making them impossible to pull off.

Stainless steel fittings are available in an electropolished or standard machine finish. Our stainless steel fittings are manufactured in the U.S.A. in a facility dedicated exclusively to fabricating sanitary fittings for the biotech industry. Because Mitos fittings come from a single source, components are unparalleled in consistency of material, dimensions, surface finish and craftsmanship.

Our reducers come standard in 316L stainless steel with an electropolish finish. Compared with industry standards, Mitos stainless steel reducers have a space-saving, compact design that measures 1.25" end to end, lessening unnecessary hold up volumes.
